Playa del Carmen used to be a fishing town but now is a touristic resort town located in Quintana Roo on the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico Playa del Carmen or ‘Playa’ is known by its relaxed atmosphere, hotel boutiques, European stlyle and happy people.  We love this kiteboarding destination in Mexico. The PKRA or Pro Kite World Tour has done some international  tournaments.  The Best kiteboarding Season: November, December, January, February, March, April, May.
