You can do an incredible downwind from Rio Lagarto to San Felipe. There are many cultural activities around the area. Cancun city and Tulum are just two and half hours driving.

Rio Lagartos is a biosphere reserve on the north shore of the Yucatan Peninsula, famous as an estuary which is a nesting ground for flamingos and dozens of other waterfowl.
