Progreso, Yucatan is considered to be a very windy beach in Mexico. Progreso is a port city in the Mexican State of Yucatan, just 30 minutes north of state capital Mérida by highway. The wind is good almost all year round, except for July and August, which is the lowest wind season. The rest of the year, this is a very reliable spot for kiteboarding. The most reliable months for wind are from February to June.
