‘Festival del Viento’ 2015 Bucerias, Mexico

The ‘Festival del Viento‘ is the biggest and most important kiteboarding event in Mexico. It brings mexican top kiteboarders together, and even international kiteboarders come to join and participate. Thats why KitesurfVacation was happy to be there on May 22, 23 and 24, and even happier and proud to have been one of the sponsors of this unique kite competition.

The ‘Festival del Viento’ 2015 was held in beautiful Riviera Nayarit, on the beach of Bucerias, a great kite destination from March to June. The windgods didn’t disappoint, they brought us 3 days of excellent wind arround 20 knots. Furthermore the organizers (AMK) did an excellent job to make the festival a blast. Not to forget the hundreds of spectators coming to the Bay of Banderas cheering on the competidors. All this made this years ‘Festival del Viento’ the best one so far.
